Helen was born on May 6, 1971 in Tehran to an Armenian family. At the age of 15, he began his studies at the Conservatory of Music, especially in the field of opera and piano. Helen and her husband Vahan, on a trip to Turkey in 2015, missed a trip due to Vahans sudden stroke and paralysis, and Helen flew her to the United States for treatment.
